Clermont Hotel Group (CHG) has been recognised as one of the top UK best places to work on the 2026 UK’s Best Workplaces list which was announced by Great Place To Work UK.

CHG jumped to 8th in the Best Workplaces List this year in the super-large company category after its team, responded anonymously to a Trust Index survey. CHG were previously ranked 46th in the standings, seeing a significant increase across core areas this year, including 85% in their Trust Index Score.

After previously being recognised as a Great Place To Work, Clermont Hotel Group has continued to drive its people, talent and development strategy forward for its colleagues. There has been a continued focus for CHG to support colleagues through its unique learning and development centre, ‘The Academy’. Designed to upskill and develop employees for long term careers within the Clermont Hotel Group, it provides tailored programmes, masterclasses and on-the-job training to staff across the group’s entire portfolio. Last year saw The Academy provide 48,000 hours of training to employees, an increase of 140% compared to the previous year.

Earlier this year, CHG also announced its Company Sponsored Membership of the Institute of Hospitality, providing employees with access to on-demand learning, practical resources and global networking opportunities.

Heather Harris, Group HR Director for Clermont Hotel Group, said: “To be recognised as a top ten Great Place to Work is an incredible achievement. Thank you to our colleagues for taking the time to respond and for believing in what we are building here at CHG. Our incredibly talented colleagues across both our corporate and hotel teams are CHG’s most powerful asset and is what sets us apart. We can’t deliver exceptional hospitality without them. We are a people-first business and it’s crucial that we foster an inclusive culture where everyone can be their authentic selves as well as nurturing and developing our talent as we strive together to be the leading hotel operator in London”.

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK, said: “At Great Place To Work our mission is to help every workplace become a great place to work for all. We wholeheartedly endorse that what’s ‘better for business’ aligns with what’s ‘better for people,’ ultimately contributing to a better world For All.

“Year after year, it’s truly inspiring to witness a growing number of organisations earn a spot on our UK’s Best Workplaces List. We’ve seen an increase yet again in Trust Index scores which means the bar has been raised and this accreditation is a significant and tremendous accomplishment. The UK’s Best Workplaces excel in creating consistently great experiences for all employees through fostering high levels of trust, pride and camaraderie to fuel increased organisational performance. These crucial elements collectively contribute to creating cultures where employees feel they can truly be themselves and thrive in a supportive and caring environment. Congratulations to Clermont Hotel Group for achieving a place on our 2026 UK’s Best Workplaces List.”
