Aethos Milan is stepping into a new era. Following a complete design transformation, the hotel, just steps away from the Darsena, is reopening with a newly awarded five-star status. The relaunch unveils 35 redesigned guest rooms, the iconic Doping Bar, including a new summer terrace, and expanded social spaces. It also introduces Cima, a restaurant reserved exclusively for Aethos members and hotel guests, bringing a refined culinary identity to the property and enriching the brand’s growing members’ community.

“This reopening marks a transformational moment for Aethos in Milan,” says Lily Wecker, CEO of Aethos. “We have always believed that luxury today is about fostering genuine human connection – not just beautiful spaces, but soulful ones. The redesign of our Milan hotel and private members’ club brings that philosophy to life. Aethos Milan now feels intentional, expressive and filled with the dramatic vibrancy of the city. It is a place where members and guests can simply belong.”
The guest rooms at Aethos Milan have been entirely reimagined as eclectic, tailor-made spaces. Every detail responds to the building’s original architectural lines: layered headboards, deep color palettes, bespoke furnishings, natural woods, and tactile finishes come together to redefine traditional notions of luxury. The result is contemporary and quietly expressive — intimate rooms that feel collected rather than decorated, offering a calm counterpoint to Navigli’s energy outside.
The Doping Bar returns with a refreshed aesthetic and a closer connection to the outdoors. The bar now opens directly onto a redesigned courtyard — an urban sanctuary that is both calm and convivial. Ceramic flooring, airy pergolas, soft textiles, and warm lighting give the space its unmistakably Milanese character. At its center sits a sculptural multi-tier fountain, designed to hold ice and bottles, becoming a playful yet elegant focal point that sets the tone for long aperitivo hours. Vintage-inspired furniture, geometric patterns, and deep tones such as burgundy and forest green echo the atmosphere of the guest rooms, reinforcing a cohesive aesthetic language throughout the hotel.
The reopening marks an important evolution for the Aethos Members’ Community in Milan. With the introduction of Cima, redesigned social spaces, and a refreshed programming calendar, the property becomes a new anchor point for members seeking meaningful connection and cultural exchange. Members gain access to Cima’s intimate dining experience, curated moments at Doping Bar, private gatherings, workshops, and a series of Milan-focused events exploring the city’s creative edges — from design and food to music, makers, and movement. These offerings unfold within a design-led environment conceived to encourage conversation, creativity, and a genuine sense of belonging.
