Chef Jamie Oliver, along with the visionaries behind the Prezzo Italian rebrand, have unveiled the first images of the highly anticipated Jamie’s Italian ahead of its relaunch next month.

Opening 11 March, the new restaurant in the heart of London’s Leicester Square marks the return of Jamie’s Italian to the UK. The newly released images offer an exclusive glimpse inside the restaurant before it officially opens.

Spread over three floors, the restaurant will have space for 140 covers and is designed to blend nostalgia with modernity, capturing the original essence of Jamie’s Italian with a contemporary twist for today’s diners.

The open kitchen, much loved in the original Jamie’s Italian restaurant, returns on the ground floor, allowing diners to watch chefs prepare dishes including its iconic freshly made pasta. The first floor and basement offer additional dining space, with the lower level featuring a bar serving Jamie’s Italian Tuscan wine on tap and handcrafted cocktails including rosemary negroni, walnut old fashioned, and Limoncello spritz.

The menu has been curated by Jamie and features a mix of new dishes and some of the much-loved classics, including the famous cured meat planks, prawn linguine, and Gennaro’s bolognese. Pasta and bread are all made on the premises fresh every day and all ingredients are sourced to Jamie’s high food standards from suppliers such as Cobble Lane, HG Walters, Chalk Stream Trout and Liberty Wines.

Jamie’s brand has thrived internationally, with over 30 locations across 15 countries. Its strategic return to the UK signals confidence in the UK hospitality sector and capitalises on the strength of Jamie Oliver’s brand and the nation’s love for Italian cuisine.

James Brown, CEO at Brava Hospitality Group, said: “This is a huge moment for Brava and the Jamie’s Italian teams. We’re now really pleased to be able to share the first images and offer a glimpse of what can be expected when the restaurant opens next month.

“Together, we’ve spent months refining and elevating the offering to deliver on our vision. Jamie’s Italian is now set to reimagine the high street through its exceptional, modern and generous hospitality, and we are looking forward to welcoming the first guests to experience it.”

Ed Loftus, Global Director of Jamie Oliver Restaurants, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be bringing Jamie’s Italian back to the UK. It’s a massive moment for the brand and a real privilege to be part of its relaunch. This has been a true collaboration between Jamie, the Brava team and our own team from day one, with painstaking attention to detail across every element, from the design and guest experience to the menu and ingredient sourcing.

“We’ve taken the time to carefully evolve the brand, holding on to everything people loved while refining it for today. I can’t wait for guests to experience what we’ve created together.”

The opening is set to create over 50 new jobs, with a variety of roles available including waiting staff, hosts, chef de partie and sous chefs.

Jamie’s Italian is the second brand to join the Brava Hospitality portfolio, sitting alongside Prezzo Italian, which underwent its own transformation and rebrand in April 2025.
