A celebrated name in British hospitality, the Spiteri family announces The Latimer, a new pub and neighbourhood dining destination on Latimer Road, opening 21 April 2026. Bringing together a rich tapestry experience across London’s dining scene, the project is a true family collaboration, uniting two generations around a shared vision.

Restaurateur Jon Spiteri, an original partner in institutions including both The French House Dining Room, St. John with Fergus Henderson, and Sessions Arts Club, has long shaped modern London dining. Melanie Arnold, Co-Founder of Rochelle Canteen, which has been widely praised for its understated yet refined approach to food for the past 20 years. Their sons, Lorcan and Fin, the duo behind Caravel, bring experience from some of the capital’s most respected kitchens and dining rooms, while their sister Molly, Business Development Lead at Koya, completes the family team. Together, they bring their collective expertise to create a pub rooted in warmth, quality and neighbourhood spirit.
The kitchen will be led by Lorcan, offering a menu that combines the essence of a traditional pub with a welcoming space to sit and enjoy a meal. Dishes balance classic flavours and hearty favourites with refined, imaginative touches. Snacks and starters include; black pudding confit potato with homemade brown sauce and poached trout mayonnaise in little gem, while larger plates offer brown crab tagliolini with bisque and lemon and ox tail with mash and horseradish. Desserts include almond cake with custard and poached rhubarb and a white chocolate ganache with clementine and shortbread.
Alongside the main menu, a dedicated bar menu caters for those dropping in for a drink, including masala monkfish with tartare sauce, and tempura oyster mushrooms with pickles. On Sundays, the traditional roast gives way to sharing platters of meat, accompanied by a selection of seasonal vegetables.
Fin will be heading up the drinks and leading the front-of-house service at The Latimer. The offering will be led by a chosen selection of draft beers and wines on tap from Uncharted, alongside a concise list of favourite wines and a strong range of non-alcoholic options.
Designed to feel homely and welcoming, The Latimer will reflect the family’s commitment to creating a pub with character, integrity and a strong sense of place. Upholstered and recycled furniture, reclaimed crockery, and wooden floors give the space a warm, lived-in character, while artwork chosen by the family adds a personal touch throughout. The pub will accommodate around 50 guests across the dining area and bar, with a street terrace open all year round.
