Global catering, hospitality and brand logistics specialist Global Infusion Group has today announced that it has certified as a B Corporation (B Corp), joining a global movement of businesses committed to balancing profit with positive social and environmental impact.

Certified by B Lab, the not-for-profit organisation behind the B Corp movement, Global Infusion Group has met rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. The certification assesses the entirety of a business’ operations across five key impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.

The B Corp certification process is widely recognised as one of the most robust assessments of responsible business practice. To achieve certification, companies must score a minimum of 80 points on the B Impact Assessment and provide extensive evidence of policies and practices relating to areas such as worker wellbeing, environmental management, ethical supply chains, community engagement and corporate governance. As part of the process, Global Infusion Group has also formally embedded its commitment to balancing purpose and profit into its Articles of Association.

Global Infusion Group now joins a community of more than 9,000 certified B Corps worldwide and over 2,500 in the UK, spanning a diverse range of sectors and sizes. In the UK, the B Corp community includes recognised brands who are also Global Infusion Group clients; Curators, MOJU, Candy Kittens, Tony’s Chocolonely and Vita Coco.

The certification reflects the Group’s long-standing values and its structured approach to sustainability, inclusion and responsible growth. With 42 years’ experience delivering catering, hospitality and brand logistics across sport, music, film, television, corporate events and fulfilment, Global Infusion Group has increasingly formalised its environmental and social commitments through measurable targets, transparent reporting and continuous improvement.

Commenting on the certification, Bonnie May, CEO of Global Infusion Group, said: “Becoming a B Corp is a hugely important milestone for our business. It recognises the work we’ve been doing for many years to operate responsibly, look after our people, support our communities and reduce our environmental impact, while continuing to deliver exceptional service for our clients. Achieving the certification isn’t the end of the journey, it’s the start, with a framework that holds us accountable and challenges us to keep raising the bar.”

In recent years, Global Infusion Group has strengthened its focus on employee wellbeing, diversity and development, achieving employee satisfaction levels significantly above the industry average and becoming a Disability Confident Employer. The business has also expanded its community impact through charitable giving, volunteering initiatives and discounted or complimentary services for charities and community organisations.

Environmental responsibility has been another core focus with its internal ‘SustainABLE’ initiative, designed to encourage lower-impact food choices and menu design, reduce waste, emissions measurement and embed sustainability into its day-to-day operations and decision-making.

Bonnie May adds: “The events, catering and logistics sectors are under increasing scrutiny, and rightly so. B Corp certification sends a clear signal that we are committed to transparency, accountability and meaningful action. We want to play an active role in shaping a more responsible future for the industries that we serve and to demonstrate that high standards and commercial success go hand in hand.”

Global Infusion Group’s B Corp certification builds on the publication of its first annual Impact Report, which sets out its progress to date alongside clear social and environmental targets for the year ahead. These include commitments around emissions reduction, sustainable procurement, employee training and continued investment in local communities.

As a certified B Corp, Global Infusion Group will be required to recertify every three years, ensuring ongoing measurement, independent verification and continuous improvement across all areas of the business.
