Only A Pavement Away has released its 2025–2026 Impact Report, revealing the powerful difference the hospitality industry and the charity continue to make in rebuilding lives.

The national charity, which supports people facing or at risk of homelessness, prison leavers and other barriers to employment, supported 807 people into work over the past year, contributing £32 million to the UK economy. In addition, the charity received 5,487 candidate engagements through its employment support and learning and development sessions.
The report showcases the charity’s achievements to date and throughout 2025, combining key statistics with powerful first-hand testimonials from members who have successfully gained employment. Among them is Shabnam, a recipient of the Deborah Moses Bursary, who shares how the support she received from Only A Pavement Away helped her rebuild her life following release from prison.
Greg Mangham, Founder and Voluntary CEO of Only A Pavement Away, said: “Never did my wife Gill and I imagine that an idea sparked while walking along the Strand in September 2017 would grow into what Only A Pavement Away is today. Over the past eight years, we have been privileged to work alongside an incredible team and to receive such strong support from the hospitality sector. Together with our referral partners, we have helped place 807 members into work, adding £32 million to the economy. We are immensely proud of what has been achieved and excited about what the future holds.”
The Impact Report serves as a powerful reminder of the hospitality sector’s unique ability to provide inclusive, life-changing opportunities and highlights the vital role Only A Pavement Away continues to play in supporting people to rebuild their lives through stable employment.
