Families are in for a treat this Easter as Storrs Hall, set on the shores of Windermere, is offering an idyllic Spring-time escape complete with a Winnie-the-Pooh themed Tiny Tots Tea for little ones, plus acres of private grounds for Easter egg adventures.

Running throughout the Easter holidays, the Tiny Tots Tea is designed especially for younger guests and brings the gentle charm of Hundred Acre Wood to afternoon tea. Served on a delightful Winnie-the-Pooh tea set, the tea provides a spread of finger sandwiches and sausage rolls, fluffy plain buttermilk scones with English strawberry jam, and a selection of playful sweet treats…
Created in-house by Storrs Hall’s Pastry Chef, the miniature desserts include Winnie Macarons filled with vanilla ganache, chocolate-dipped Hunny Cake Pops, Tigger Chocolate Brownies and Eeyore Salted Caramel and Chocolate Cookie Sandwiches. To drink, children can choose between a fresh fruit milkshake or a hot chocolate piled high with all the trimmings.
Grown-ups won’t miss out either, with a traditional afternoon tea available for adults, making tea at Storrs Hall a relaxed and indulgent experience for the whole family. Beyond the tea table, the hotel offers plenty to keep families nurtured, from cosy board games in the lounge on rainy days, to laid-back Bistro suppers and leisurely mornings with breakfast in bed.
With 17 acres of private grounds, woodland and lakeshore, the hotel is also ideal for families to enjoy their own Easter egg hunts and springtime exploring, giving them space to roam, search and play, all against the spectacular backdrop of England’s largest lake.
The Grade II* listed Georgian mansion is known for being ‘discreetly family-friendly’, combining classic Lake District grandeur with a warm, easy-going atmosphere that welcomes guests of all ages.
