Hotel Gotham Newcastle is inviting guests to ring in the New Year in true Gotham style – bold, glamorous and utterly unforgettable.

As the countdown to 2026 begins, the city’s newest hotel is preparing to host its first ever New Year’s Eve celebration and it’s shaping up to be Newcastle’s most talked-about night of the year.
Introducing Midnight at Gotham, a one-night experience designed for those who prefer their celebrations with a side of drama, elegance and live music until the early hours.
Guests will be treated to a signature Gotham welcome, complete with champagne on arrival, a decadent dinner at SIREN and VIP access to FIRE, the hotel’s striking Art Deco bar where live musicians and DJs will carry the party through to 1am.
And here’s the twist – FIRE will be open to all on the night. Guests can drop in for a touch of sparkle or settle in for the full celebration. Expect complimentary entry, delicious nibbles, expertly crafted cocktails and of course, champagne. With live music guests can relax, dance and soak up the atmosphere in true Gotham style.
Chris Thompson, General Manager of Hotel Gotham Newcastle, said: “New Year’s Eve is one of those rare nights that stays with people and we want to get it just right. From the welcome to the final toast, our team is focused on creating something truly special for our guests. This will be our first New Year’s at Gotham Newcastle and we’re setting the bar high. Exceptional food, thoughtful service and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the city – our goal is to give people a night they’ll talk about long after the clock strikes midnight.”
Whether dining in SIREN or dancing at FIRE, the evening promises a feast for the senses – with every detail designed to mark the final hours of 2025 in unmistakable Gotham fashion.
