Harrah’s Resort Southern California has announced its latest culinary addition with Tierra y Mar, a new, elevated Mexican-inspired restaurant concept set to debut in summer 2026. This significant $10.7 million investment will create a new social dining destination, replacing the resort’s current seafood restaurant, Salt & Fin.

Tierra y Mar is envisioned as a warm and comfortable gathering place, meticulously designed to provide the perfect setting for any occasion — from an intimate dinner for two and lively family meals to special celebrations with friends. The concept aims to create a welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy an exceptional culinary experience.
“We know that memorable dining is a cornerstone of the guest experience here in Funner, which is why we’re incredibly excited to introduce this new concept,” said Jill Barrett, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Harrah’s Resort Southern California. “It fills a perfect space in our culinary lineup — offering an experience that is both sophisticated and fun.”
At Tierra y Mar, the menu will feature authentic, vibrant flavours and dishes inspired by Baja California and Mexico’s diverse regions. Signature offerings will include “Funner” Beef Birria, Camarones al Diablo, and Classic Pescado al Talla.
Key features of Tierra y Mar will include a lively, tequila-focused bar and an elegant private dining room designed for smaller group events and intimate gatherings.
“This investment underscores the Rincon Tribe’s continued commitment to enhancing Harrah’s Resort Southern California as a premier destination for the region,” said Rincon Tribal Chairman Steve Stallings. “We are creating a unique and authentic dining experience that celebrates rich culinary traditions in a modern, welcoming setting. We look forward to welcoming our community to this beautiful new space.”
Construction is officially underway as of mid-November 2025. As part of this strategic evolution of the resort’s dining portfolio, ‘ritas Cantina will also cease operations, consolidating the resort’s Mexican-style dining into one premier destination.
