Accor, a world leading hospitality group, has appointed Karelle Lamouche as CEO for Europe & North Africa for its Premium, Midscale & Economy brands. In her new role, Karelle will lead Accor’s business in the region, which includes more than 3,000 hotels across 40+ countries, representing approximately 40% of Accor’s entire global network.

Karelle’s appointment follows a tenure of almost 30 years in Accor, most recently as Chief Operating Officer for Europe & North Africa, after serving as Chief Commercial Officer for the Group’s Premium, Midscale & Economy brands. Since joining Accor in 1998, Karelle has risen from in-hotel positions – including as a General Manager – to country and global leadership roles across operations, marketing, communications and commercial functions.
Karelle Lamouche, CEO, Europe & North Africa for Accor’s Premium, Midscale & Economy division said: “This region is the world’s number one travel destination but is made up of a huge number of markets, languages and cultures. Accor understands how to thrive in this complex market better than anyone else and we have the expertise, scale, brands, distribution, system delivery and operational excellence to deliver results for our hotel owner partners and retain loyal guests. I’m hugely excited to be leading the business across this region, boosting our presence in fantastic emerging destinations and bringing new energy and visitors to established ones.”
Jean-Jacques Morin, Group Deputy CEO of Accor, said: “Karelle brings deep leadership experience spanning all aspects of our business, from hotel operations to commercial strategy including brands, loyalty, distribution and marketing. Her ability to help owners optimise their return on investment while delighting guests makes her ideally positioned to take this role.”
