A riverside restaurant has launched a brand-new brunch menu designed to shine a spotlight on the very best local produce, making it the most locally-sourced menu in the restaurant’s history.

The new brunch menu at Boathouse Swanwick, Hampshire, features ingredients from 10 different local suppliers across Hampshire and the surrounding regions.
Every element of the new brunch menu highlights the flavours of South Coast produce, featuring ingredients such as Two & One Olive Oil, Lyburn Cheese (Old Winchester), Smith’s Butchers meats, Oven Door Bakery breads, Rosary Goats Cheese, New Forest wild mushrooms, Test Valley Venison, South Coast fish, Blue Vinny cheese and Clayton’s eggs.
Boathouse Swanwick, part of the Ideal Collection group, is committed to creating warm, welcoming dining experiences across Hampshire and West Sussex, using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and supporting the very best local producers as a corporate partner of Hampshire Fare.
Executive Chef of Ideal Collection, Matt Whitfield, said he was really excited to launch this menu, which offers something fresh and different for Boathouse Swanwick.
“We’re really proud to work alongside such brilliant local producers to bring this menu to life. It’s all about giving people what they want – light dishes that can be enjoyed throughout the day.
“Brunch is such a vibrant social occasion, and we wanted to create something that not only tastes amazing but also tells the story of where our food comes from.
“Working with the best suppliers on the South Coast is at the heart of everything we do, and this menu is a perfect example of that ethos in action.
“Guests can also enjoy a selection of the new dishes with our bottomless brunch option on Saturdays from 12-4pm.”
