Apex Hotels is announcing the addition of the iconic Dunblane Hydro to its portfolio, with the hotel officially reopening as Apex Dunblane Hydro Hotel on 28th November 2025.
The business acquired the historic property in November 2024, and from November 2025 the hotel will form part of Apex Hotels’ portfolio.
The 200-bedroom Victorian landmark will become the ninth Apex branded hotel and will undergo a comprehensive multi-phase refurbishment programme aimed at restoring this iconic heritage hotel to former glories. Commencing with the conference and events spaces this month, the refurbishment will also upgrade guest rooms and modernise public spaces, introducing Apex Hotels’ distinctive contemporary design and luxury touches.

With 200 bedrooms and set within 10 acres of landscaped grounds, the hotel is perfectly placed in Central Scotland to serve as a key leisure and conference destination, with enhanced meeting and event facilities for up to 500 delegates.
