Heritage Portfolio, the specialist events and catering company within Sodexo Live! is celebrating another successful season at one of Edinburgh’s most iconic events, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Over the course of 24 spectacular performances in August, the team delivered world-class hospitality to guests in the Royal Gallery and to performers alike.

As a result of the impeccable service provided, Heritage Portfolio has renewed its contract with The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo for a further four years, signing a multi-million-pound contract to ensure the continued delivery of exceptional hospitality to complement the on-stage spectacle.
As well as providing services for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Heritage Portfolio has also been appointed as hospitality partner for The Cockburn, a brand new event space at the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, and at the heart of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in their head office. The Cockburn will offer an events space for intimate dinners, receptions and gala dinners up to 90 guests.
Sandy Robson, Executive Director of Heritage Portfolio, said: “We’ve been collaborating with The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo for over two decades, our team worked tirelessly to combine Scottish tradition with refined hospitality. Welcoming guests from across the globe to this world-renowned cultural showcase, we sought to create an unforgettable experience that reflects both the grandeur of the event and the warmth of Scottish hospitality. We are delighted that our partnership has been extended for a further four years, allowing us to continue delivering unparalleled hospitality and supporting this iconic celebration well into the future.”
Jason Barrett, Chief Executive of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, said: “At the Tattoo we pride ourselves on the outstanding Scottish hospitality we offer every one of our guests we interact with. And thanks to Heritage Portfolio we’ve been able to continue this commitment for over two decades. As we expand our offering, beyond August and beyond the Esplanade, we’re excited to have the Heritage Portfolio team alongside us.”
Set against the dramatic backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, the Tattoo allowed guests in the Royal Gallery to enjoy sparkling wine on arrival, a seasonal three-course dinner with carefully matched wines, and a dram of whisky to toast an unforgettable evening beneath the summer skies.
