The Institute of Hospitality Golf Day 2026 has today opened bookings for the annual event that brings so many from our industry together at The Belfry Hotel & Resort.

Next year’s event takes place on Thursday 14th May 2026.
The golf day in 2026 will be bigger and better than ever through enhanced features such as the longest putt, which allows non golfers attending dinner to join in on the action. This will open earlier in 2026 due to its popularity last year.
The day starts with bacon butties washed down with lashings of tea and coffee as teams register in The Wishaw Suite.
Following a pre round briefing from The Belfry’s golf pros, teams are led out onto their respective tees to start play at the only golf resort in the world to host four Ryder Cups.
After 18 holes, which includes… Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive, and Beat the Pro, players can retire to the 19th for a drink and catch up with their peers, perhaps to compare notes on the day’s play.
Dinner follows in the evening, always a sumptuous affair from Executive Chef Robert Bates and his brigade. Three courses of culinary art.
Following dinner, a prize draw and auction raises funds for industry charities. In 2026 these are the Institute of Hospitality Youth Council, and The Crumbs Project. Both of which are helping young people to enter and thrive in workplaces across our industry.
We are delighted to report that two significant auction items have already been received thanks to the generosity of Bespoke Hotels.
If you would like to bring a team and join a day of sporting comradery and networking through dinner in the evening a four ball team is £1,195. Please complete the form below and a member of the H&C News organising team will be in touch.
