Seckford Hall to Host The Bumblebee Children’s Charity Event This October

September 21, 2025

Seckford Hall Hotel & Spa is proud to announce that it will be hosting a special charity evening in support of The Bumblebee Children’s Charity on Friday 10th October 2025. The event will bring together the Suffolk community for an evening of fine dining, live entertainment, and fundraising in aid of a vital local cause.

The dinner will be held in The Pavilion at Seckford Hall Hotel & Spa, with live music from renowned band The Indie Killers providing entertainment throughout the evening.

In the spirit of community, Seckford Hall is donating the venue, food, and welcome drinks at no cost, with the generous support of suppliers who are also contributing free produce, including Fisher & Woods (vegetables and dairy products), Cleveleys Foods (meat), Bidfood (dry goods), with Peter Graham Wines and Adnams also providing contributions.

Guests will enjoy a three-course menu thoughtfully created around the event’s yellow and purple theme, with a sweet nod to honey throughout the dishes including:

  • Golden Beetroot Carpaccio with goats’ cheese mousse, roasted walnuts and honey dressing
  • Honey & Mustard Glazed Chicken Supreme with fondant potato, heritage carrots and purple sprouting broccoli
  • Lemon Posset with blackberry compote, honey tuille and honeycomb

All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to The Bumblebee Children’s Charity, which provides a specialist programme to support babies and young children with physical difficulties, working closely with families to deliver fun-filled sensory experiences.

Michael, Owner of Heritage Rocks (which includes Seckford Hall Hotel & Spa, Woodhall Manor and Manor by the Lake), commented: “We are delighted to be hosting this special charity evening in support of The Bumblebee Children’s Charity at Seckford Hall. It’s a privilege to bring our community together for such a worthy cause, and this event provides a meaningful way to raise vital funds to support babies, young children and their families who need it most.”
