Noisy Oyster Launches Brunch Offering With Exclusive Norman’s Collaboration

September 10, 2025

This September, Shoreditch’s seafood bistro Noisy Oyster kicks off its brand-new weekend brunch with an exclusive collaboration featuring cult-favourite Norman’s Cafe. For one weekend only, on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September, Norman’s will make a triumphant return to the London dining scene after shuttering its Archway cafe in May, joining Noisy Oyster to serve up a limited-edition dish alongside their new brunch menu.

“Elements of our existing menu already lent themselves to London brunch culture, so this felt like a natural step for the restaurant. And we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Norman’s Cafe back to the city for one weekend only to help kickstart it. The brunch menu is a chic and nostalgic take on the late breakfast menu, revisiting classic dishes and giving them a modern twist alongside our signature offerings. ”, adds Noisy Oyster co-founder Madina Kazhimova.

To mark the occasion, Norman’s co-founder Richie Hayes has created one of his favourite seaside childhood orders from the chip shop with a Fish Bap – Battered fish, cheese, tartare in a bread roll.

“I’m thrilled to bring a piece of Norman’s back to life this September in London with a reimagined take on a childhood favourite dish of mine,” adds Richie. “We hope that diners enjoy our version of the fish bap made with best-possible quality ingredients.”

Alongside the limited-edition Norman’s item, Head Chef Alfie Bahnan (ex-Trullo, Lagare, Paradise) has created a seafood-forward brunch menu that will run every Saturday and Sunday from 27 September. Dishes include:

  • MonkMuffin: monkfish and scallop patty with slow-cooked tomato sauce, cheese, streaky bacon, fried egg and aioli on an English muffin
  • Hash Browns with egg gribiche and smoked trout roe
  • French omelette with crab
  • Crudo Trio: scallop, tuna & monkfish with capers and lemon
  • Tater Tots with sour cream, chives and bottarga
  • Spaghetti Arrabiatta with stracciatella
  • Fig Panzanella Salad

Those nursing sore heads can revive themselves or keep the party going with Noisy Oyster’s new brunch cocktails:

  • Breakfast Martini with orange marmalade, triple sec, lemon juice and gin
  • Bloody (or Virgin) Mary with cayenne & Maldon sea salt rim
  • Dirty G&T with olive brine, Sapling gin and rosemary & olive tonic
  • Classic Mimosa with cold-pressed orange juice and champagne
