After eight years at 35 Kensington High Street, Kensington favourite Zuaya has now closed, having served its last guests on 18 August. Taking its place, Emerald Hospitality Group opens Bottega 35 today, 1 September 2025. The new Tuscan-inspired restaurant brings hand-rolled pasta, wood-fired grills, and a generous wine selection to W8. To celebrate the opening, guests can enjoy 30% off food and drinks throughout September.

A new Tuscan chapter for Kensington
Bottega 35 is a love letter to Tuscany: generous plates, convivial energy, and wines made for long conversations. The menu highlights include pappardelle ragù, mafaldine tossed in a pecorino wheel with truffle, and a pumpkin risotto alongside grill favourites such as dry-aged ribeye and lamb chops abbacchio alla griglia. Seafood lovers will find tagliolini with mixed seafood, seabass acqua pazza and grilled squid salmoriglio, while desserts range from table-served tiramisu to torta Susanna and classic cannoli.
The Kensington site has been fully refreshed to channel Tuscan warmth, relaxed enough for a midweek lunch, refined enough for a celebratory dinner, and welcoming enough for those “one glass that became three” nights.
Alberto Zandi, Co-Founder at Emerald Hospitality Group said: “Zuaya was our first home and the start of everything for us. Eight years on, we’re excited to bring something new to the neighbourhood with Bottega 35: Tuscan food cooked with heart, poured with great wine, and delivered with that same warm hospitality Kensington knows us for.”
Arian Zandi, Co-Founder at Emerald Hospitality Group said: “Kensington has supported us from day one. Bottega 35 is our way of saying grazie mille, familiar flavours done exceptionally well, alongside new signature dishes we hope will become local favourites. September is the perfect time to come and try it all with 30% off during our soft opening.”
