German Doner Kebab (GDK) is marking a major growth milestone with the launch of its 150th UK restaurant in Leeds Boar Lane.
The milestone follows the brand’s 100th UK store opening in May 2022, underlining GDK’s rapid trajectory as one of the fastest-developing dining brands in the country. Since entering the UK in 2015, GDK has expanded at pace, building a national footprint of more than 150 sites across major UK city centre high streets, shopping centres, and travel hubs. Leeds now hosts three GDK restaurants, following locations at Leeds Cardigan Fields and the White Rose Centre, reinforcing the brand’s strong regional presence and customer demand in the North.
The brand, famed for its game-changing kebabs that have taken the UK by storm, continues to set the standard by using only premium cuts of meat, fresh locally sourced salad, signature handmade sauces and GDK’s signature toasted waffle bread.
The Boar Lane site is set to deliver GDK’s modern kebab experience to even more fans across Leeds, whether dining in with friends, grabbing a quick bite on the go, or fuelling up after a day in the city.
