FERGUS Group Closes Summer 2025 With Record-Breaking Results Following Seven Hotel Openings and Prepares for Continued Growth in 2026

September 19, 2025

FERGUS Group is wrapping up the 2025 summer season with robust results across its portfolio of 34 hotels under the FERGUS Hotels, tent Hotels, and Affiliated by FERGUS brands. With seven new openings this year and strong performance in all segments, the group continues to establish itself as one of Spain’s fastest-growing hospitality players and a thought-leader in the vacation hotel sector.

Strong 2025 Season Performance

The summer season confirmed the group’s strong growth trajectory, with total revenues expected to reach €210 million – more than a third higher than last year – and operating profit also showing significant double-digit growth. Occupancy across the portfolio remained high, averaging close to 90% in July and August, with particularly strong demand in family-oriented resorts.

Guest satisfaction indicators confirmed the success of recent repositioning, with excellent feedback from travellers. Strong growth from the UK, alongside France and Eastern Europe, more than offset the slight softening in demand from the German market. The average length of stay increased slightly, with guests now spending almost six nights on average at FERGUS properties.

Having opened in May 2025, FERGUS Style Punta Arabí in Ibiza has quickly established itself as a lifestyle destination, combining striking architecture, clifftop views over Santa Eulalia, a vibrant culinary offer, and the iconic Hippy Market Punta Arabí held weekly on-site.

“2025 has been one of the most defining years for FERGUS Group. With seven new openings and consistently strong occupancy across our portfolio, we have proven once again that our repositioning strategy creates value both for our guests and our partners,” said Bernat Vicens, CEO of FERGUS Group. “The remarkable revenue growth illustrates how we can transform properties into destinations that truly resonate with today’s travellers.”

Future Outlook

Looking ahead, FERGUS Group will continue its strategy of sustainable expansion and repositioning. Key milestones include:

  • The opening of FERGUS Style Palma Beach (Mallorca) in October 2025 – upgraded from 2 to 4 stars, with year-round operations targeting premium travellers.
  • A pipeline of new projects in Cala Major (Palma) – FERGUS Style La Cala, FERGUS Marivent, and tent Costa Palma – set to open in 2027 after a €17 million repositioning investment.
  • A major repositioning of FERGUS Lloret de Mar (formerly Hotel Clipper) – renovations to begin in 2026 with an aim of relaunching as a 4-star family and couples’ resort in 2027.
  • A major repositioning of FERGUS Lloret de Mar (formerly Hotel Clipper), beginning in 2026, aimed at relaunching as a 4-star family and couples’ resort in 2027
  • Opening in 2027, the 10th hotel in the tent portfolio, after the complete refurbishment of the current Las Palmeras Affiliated by FERGUS in Fuengirola, Andalusia.

Demand for travel to Spain and the Balearics is expected to remain strong in 2026, supported by the islands’ enduring appeal and the trend toward longer, quality-focused stays. FERGUS Group plans to further develop its core source markets while expanding outreach in Eastern Europe and diversifying its offer to appeal to both families and lifestyle travellers.

Sustainability & Innovation

FERGUS continues to expand its holistic sustainability strategy, addressing economic, social, and environmental dimensions.

Social responsibility remains a cornerstone: FERGUS has pioneered the professional integration of impaired employees in hospitality through a program developed with Fundación ASPAS and La Buena Huella, – an initiative now extended across several properties. And has reinforced its commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion with similar projects and partnerships incorporating people at risk of social exclusion across different properties.

Innovation is at the heart of FERGUS Group’s strategy, and specially driven by tent Hotels, the group’s disruptive brand with a “Bed & Unlimited Brunch” model and fully digitalized guest journey. Targeting travellers who seek to discover the destination, instead of a traditional half- or full-board structure, tent offers maximum flexibility: guests can start their day whenever they like, enjoy an extended brunch until 13.30 and then feel free to live the destination and explore local food culture in the evenings. If they want to stay at the hotel, tent has an alliance with Just Eat so that guests can order food and enjoy it in common spaces. The hotels are designed with a modern aesthetic and social spaces that encourage interaction, making them ideal for independent, experience-oriented travellers who value freedom over rigid schedules. The concept, which recently gained recognition at the Skift Awards, responds to the rising demand for flexible, experience-driven travel.

In terms of environmental impact, more than €250.000 have been invested in efficiency measures in 2025. The Group achieved double-digit reductions in energy consumption across recent repositioning projects and advanced measures to reduce single-use plastics.
