Welcome Break has announced the distribution of £156,000 in community grants through the Welcome Break Charitable Fund Community Grant. This initiative is dedicated to supporting local communities by investing in projects that create a genuine impact in the areas where their team members live and work.
The Welcome Break Community Grant Fund offers grants ranging from £500 to £25,000 to charities and not-for-profit organisations that are located within a 25-mile radius of a Welcome Break or Applegreen site or hotel in the UK. To ensure that the grants support projects that their team members and communities are deeply passionate about, all applications must be endorsed by a Welcome Break or Applegreen team member.
This marks the second round of grants available through the fund since its inception in May 2023. The fund aims to support and empower local charities and organisations, enabling them to continue their vital work and enrich the lives of people in their communities.
