Fulham FC has added three renowned chefs to its culinary line-up, strengthening the team behind The Riverside’s matchday experience. Sally Abe, Judy Joo and Ben Murphy bring with them an exceptional breadth of culinary talent, reinforcing the club’s ambition to sit at the top of the Premier League’s fine dining table.

Each chef brings a unique perspective to the kitchen: Joo’s innovative Korean cuisine from her acclaimed Seoul Bird restaurants, Murphy’s precision-driven modern European flair honed at Launceston Place and Abe’s refined British classics showcased at The Bull in Charlbury.
These acclaimed chefs, along with culinary stars Alex Dilling and Oli Marlow will rotate across The Gourmet restaurant, delivering seasonal menus and immersive dining experiences intricately tailored to each fixture. Their arrival ensures that every match at The Riverside offers more than football – it’s a culinary event that draws in talent from London’s fine dining establishments.
Chef Sally Abe said: “As someone who appreciates tradition with a modern twist, Fulham feels like the perfect match. The club’s heritage combined with The Riverside’s innovation mirrors my own approach to British cuisine. I can’t wait to showcase what we can achieve when great food meets great football.”
Chef Judy Joo commented: “Korean food is all about bringing people together – it’s comfort food that feels like a hug. The Riverside is an incredible setting for people to come together and share their passion for football and food. I’m excited to bring those bold Korean-American flavours I love to this amazing setting. Seoul Bird’s philosophy has always been about fun, vibrant food, and that energy feels perfect for matchday.”
Chef Ben Murphy said: “The Riverside represents everything I love about hospitality – precision, passion, and creating unforgettable experiences. I wanted to be a footballer as a kid and just as Marco Silva demands excellence from his players, I’ll be bringing that same dedication to every dish we serve. This is fine dining with genuine atmosphere.”
Speaking about the expanded culinary team, Elliot Machin, Head of Hospitality Operations at Fulham FC remarks: “These three exceptional chefs represent the calibre of talent we’re committed to attracting to The Riverside. Their combined expertise elevates our hospitality offering to world-class standards. As we prepare for what promises to be our most exciting season yet, we’re ensuring that every aspect of the matchday experience – from the first whistle to the final course – exceeds expectations. This is the final opportunity for supporters to secure their place at what will be London’s most sought-after dining and sports destination.”
As demand for premium hospitality continues to exceed expectations ahead of the 25/26 season, the club’s investment in elite gastronomy reaffirms The Riverside as one of London’s most distinctive venues. With only a handful of seasonal memberships remaining, this represents the final opportunity for fans and businesses to secure their place at the Premier League’s most talked-about hospitality destination.
With rotating chef residencies, themed culinary showcases, and elevated service across every level – from Sky Deck to Thames Bar – Fulham is setting a new gold standard for the matchday experience.
