Kicking off the landmark fifth edition of Greek Chefs Abroad, George Kataras takes centre stage on June 28, 2025, at Pearl, Elix in Parga. Known for his bold, produce-driven cuisine, George, founder of CUE in Amsterdam and alum of the three-Michelin-star Geranium in Copenhagen, blends his Mediterranean roots with Northern European finesse. His curated menus at CUE highlight a love for fresh produce and considered pairings – from wild sea bass paired with asparagus and sweet sicily to duck with field lettuce and morel, his dishes comprise few ingredients, letting the well thought out flavour combinations do the talking. This culinary mastery will be showcased during his residency at Elix.

This one-night-only residency is part of Mar-Bella Collection’s celebrated summer series spotlighting Greek chefs making waves on the international stage. George will present a five-course tasting menu that fuses personal storytelling, tradition, and innovation, paired with sommelier-selected local wines for a rich, immersive dining experience.
