
Thai Square is bringing an authentic taste of Thailand to Bayswater with a new site launching on Thursday 12 June. Marking the group’s 11th location, the new restaurant is perfectly situated just a minute’s walk from Lancaster Gate Underground Station directly opposite Hyde Park.
The new Bayswater location will be led by Head Chef ‘Kied’ Paralak Burasit from the Buriram province in northeastern Thailand, also known as Isan. Her expertise is deeply influenced by the region’s bold and distinctive food, celebrated for its spicy and tangy dishes, capturing the intensity and balance that Thai food is loved for.
House signature dishes include: Buriram Chicken, a hearty homage to Chef Kied’s hometown–grilled chicken marinated with mixed herbs served with Isan-style papaya salad in home-made fermented sauce; Cha Cha Beef, dancing flavours of stir-fried topside with mixed jungle spices and a touch of red curry paste served on sizzling hot plate. Laab Ped is also a stand-out Bayswater exclusive, featuring minced duck breast tossed with shallot, spring onion, mint leaves and chilli flakes. The contrast flavours of tangy lime juice and salted fish sauce combined with earthiness of roasted ground rice compliment the dish to perfection.
Designed with both aesthetics and comfort in mind, the 40-cover venue features stunning Thai-inspired architecture. The interior boasts antique stone walls and laterite bricks, reminiscent of the Phanom Rung Historical Park in Buriram, while contemporary wallpaper designs depict a lush atmosphere of the tropics. These artistic elements bring a modern twist to the rich cultural heritage of Thailand, making the restaurant both a feast for the eyes and the palate.

To celebrate the launch, diners can enjoy an exclusive 25% off food for the first two weeks – advance booking is required to redeem this offer. The first 100 walk-in guests will receive a complimentary portion of Green Curry or Jungle Curry, available on a first-come, first-served basis (for dine-in only).
