Cedar Court Hotels, a cornerstone of Yorkshire’s hospitality sector, is reaffirming its commitment to the region through significant investments in its flagship properties and the launch of an innovative business-to-business (B2B) outreach initiative, “The Pudding Run.”
Following major refurbishments across its Bradford, Harrogate, and Huddersfield hotels, covering bedrooms, public area and meeting and event spaces the campaign represents a continued promise to bolster the regional economy and celebrate all things Yorkshire with a flair for genuine, person-to-person connection.
“Our investments are a testament to our belief in the resilience and potential of Yorkshire’s hospitality sector,” said Wayne Topley, Managing Director of Cedar Court Hotels. “The Pudding Run is our way of extending a warm thank you to our partners and showcasing the exceptional experiences our refurbished hotels offer.”
The campaign follows the relaunch of Cedar Court’s Huddersfield hotel after a transformative £5 million investment. The upgrade includes redesigned bedrooms, refreshed meeting rooms, a revamped restaurant, and a brand-new bar, demonstrating Cedar Court’s commitment to providing premium guest experiences and first-class event spaces. Harrogate has also seen a full public area refurbishment, while Bradford now boasts new furniture, expansive reception area and restaurant, an enhanced Cedar Suite, and upgraded event rooms.
The brand’s investment arrives at a crucial time. According to Deloitte’s 2025 Travel Industry Outlook, business travel is evolving, with a focus on cost-cutting and increased interest in hosting events. This shift underscores the importance of strategic investments in facilities that cater to corporate clients seeking value and flexibility.
By enhancing its properties and launching the “Pudding Run,” Cedar Court aims to not only adapt to these changes but also to set a benchmark for proactive engagement and quality service in the region.
The Pudding Run will see the Cedar Court team traveling across the UK in a custom Yorkshire Pudding Wrap Van, offering freshly made Yorkshire pudding wraps, Group updates, and connecting with new and existing agency and corporate partners.
Cedar Court’s investment strategy also extends to its people, with continued focus on staff development and training through its internal learning and development structure.
“The future of Yorkshire hospitality is bright,” Topley added. “We have a region full of incredible talent and destinations, and we’re proud to be investing in its continued growth. The Pudding Run is a great way to update people on the new look and feel of Cedar Court whilst ensuring we share the true flavour of Yorkshire with a twist and smile”.
“Events have always been pivotal to Yorkshire’s hospitality sector. With a proud 30-year history of delivering world-class events, The Pudding Run is all about getting out from behind desks, meeting face-to-face, and truly embodying our promise of ‘Proper Yorkshire Hospitality’.”
The “Pudding Run” aims to reignite relationships and build new ones. The campaign reflects Cedar Court’s belief that hospitality is about more than transactions — it’s about people.
By continuing to invest in property, people, and partnerships, Cedar Court is cementing its position as Yorkshire’s leading independent hotel collection.
