The Institute of Hospitality’s annual golf day is once again around the corner, seeing the venue, the organisers, teams, players and sponsors all readying for a day of sport and comradery, culminating through an evening of celebration and social networking.
As always there are new features being added to the day and numerous announcements subsequently being readied.

The first of which is that Goldmills Recruitment has become the 2025 sponsor of our longest drive competition. Goldmills are returning as the current team champions and are keen to not only retain their crown but add to the day by sponsoring part of it.
Matt Paternoster, Hospitality Manager at Goldmills Recruitment explained why the firm want to be more involved: “Last year was fabulous, a great day of golf with incredible weather, where we met people from across the industry we know and were introduced to others.
“Being awarded as the winning team last year was a great experience, and this year we want to extend that feeling of achievement to others, hence stepping up and sponsoring the longest drive award.”
Denis Sheehan FIH, Publisher at H&C News the organisers of the golf day thanked Matt and the team at Goldmills saying: “Events like the Institute of Hospitality’s annual golf day only happen through the support of a great many people across the industry. The sponsors not only play a part in the day they also help facilitate it. And that support then feeds through to the Institute of Hospitality’s Youth Council, enabling them to further nurture our industry’s future leaders. Speaking with employers I know, the strapline Goldmills have adopted – “Delivering Connections that go the Furthest”, is particularly apt.”
The Institute of Hospitality Golf Day 2025 takes place at The Belfry on Thursday 8th May.
There are still a few team slots available, if you are interested in attending and taking part this year, please complete the form below and a member of the H&C News organising team will be in touch.
