Birchall Foodservice, a Burnley-based food wholesaler and founding member of the Country Range Group, is pleased to announce three promotions within its leadership team, effective immediately.
Gill Smith, the former Financial Director, has been promoted to Managing Director. In her new role, Smith will spearhead strategic initiatives to move the business forward.
Nicola Watson, who was previously the Operations Director, steps into the role of Commercial Director. Watson will drive commercial development and advance business operations.
Steve Chadwick, previously North West Regional Sales Manager, has been appointed Head of Sales & Marketing. Having made significant contributions to sales growth in recent years, Chadwick is well-positioned to lead the field sales and telesales teams and elevate marketing strategies.

Birchall Foodservice is an independent, family-owned business with depots in Burnley, Durham and Rotherham. The company employs 150 people.
The company was established in 1939 and is a founder member of the Country Range Group. Company founder George Chichester Birchall started wholesale deliveries from an off-licence in Abel Street, Burnley, in 1905.
