Since its inception in 2017, Nico has reinvented his innovative menu over the years, opening each new location with The Chippie — allowing guests and diners true insight into his personal heritage and experiences growing up.
The Chippie features dishes designed to spark imagination, memories and conversation with dishes like Chips, Cheese & Curry Sauce with Potato Terrine, Curry Emulsion, Aged Parmesan Espuma, Monkfish Scampi with Dill Emulsion, Girbiche Peas Beurre Blanc, Steak Pie with Aged Beef Tartare, Oyster Emulsion, Beer & Onion Consommé.
To complete the Six-Course Tasting Experience, you can indulge in Six by Nico’s much-loved Deep Fried Mars Bar with Chocolate Delice, Cocoa Nib, Irn Bru Sorbet – an ode to Nico and Six by Nico’s Scottish-heritage. The Six-Course Tasting Menu (with vegetarian alternative available & dietaries catered for) is priced at an affordable £44pp, with the option to enhance each dish with an optional Cocktail Pairing for £40pp or Matching Wine for £30pp.
Nico Simeone, founder and chef of Six by Nico, commented on his excitement of bringing this immersive experience to Bristol from 17th February: “The Chippie was originally created to bring a sense a taste of nostalgia, with each dish a nod to moments we have all experienced growing up, enjoying the classics; Fish and Chips, Sausage Suppers. The Chippie is a personally important menu for me as it marks the beginning of my journey with Six by Nico and acts as an ode to my family. For Bristol, I have tweaked the dishes to bring even more nostalgia and to hopefully, spark conversation and moments around the table. I am really excited and feel humbled to be sharing this experience with the people of Bristol and afar, I really cannot wait.”
Six by Nico Bristol is set to open its doors for the first time on 17th February and guests can now plan their visit to experience their taste of The Chippie. Guests are advised to Book Ahead due to demand with over 10,000 Bristolians signed up to access bookings.
