Pasta Evangelists has announced the opening of its first ever airport takeaway store at Manchester Airport Terminal 2, building on its expanding portfolio of outlets and take away kitchens across the UK.

The new location is now open and for the first time, will introduce customers to the Pasta Evangelists’ Italian breakfast offering, prior to travelling.

Among a selection of delicious dishes will be ‘the Italian breakfast bowl,’ a unique offering of oven cooked pancetta, Italian sausage, frittata, borlotti beans and toasted focaccia with a vegetarian option also on offer. The wider breakfast menu will include popular breakfast dishes with an Italian focus, for example focaccia with pancetta or Italian sausage and an Italian frittata with spinach, as well as an enticing selection of pastries, porridge and pancakes with berry compote.

Setting travellers off on their journeys, the takeaway restaurant will also serve Pasta Evangelists’ luxury pasta sauces with each dish complemented by a fresh pasta shape, e.g ‘Carbonara of Dreams’ with spaghetti, beef & Chianti ragù with creste di gallo, mushroom fusilli, pistachio, cashew & chilli pesto with creste di gallo as well as Pasta Evangelists’ cult seafood special, lobster, crab and prawn ravioli.

For those in search of a lighter pasta offering, there will be fresh and delicious brand new pasta salads including chicken, rocket and tomato with Grana Padano cheese, as well as basil pesto with tomato and mafaldine pasta.

For those wishing to get their holiday off to a ‘flying’ start, Italian classics including Prosecco, Aperol Spritz and Moretti lagers will be on offer, as well Italian coffees, tea and San Pellegrino soft drinks.

Alessandro Savelli, Founder of Pasta Evangelists said of the opening: “We are thrilled to launch our first airport outlet at Manchester Airport. We are constantly seeking new ways to innovate and the Italian inspired breakfast menu at Manchester Airport is just another example of our passion and willingness to expand into new areas.”
