A reflection of Scandinavian lifestyle, YOTEL Geneva Lake

September 12, 2024

YOTEL Geneva Lake, the 22nd property to launch from YOTEL, the global hospitality brand known for challenging the status quo, is conveniently located within minutes of Geneva Airport, and close to the banks of Lake Geneva as well as the city centre.

The 237-room hotel is the perfect homebase for the non-stop traveller looking to explore the country and visit lively neighbouring towns such as Nyon, Lausanne, and Montreux.

The property is designed to maximise the beautiful scenery surrounding the area, comprising two interconnected glass buildings at different heights to ensure guests are captivated by views at every turn, including Mont Blanc – the highest mountain in Europe.

The lighting in the public spaces is fully dynamic and programmable to complement the exterior view, changing of seasons, and activity within YOTEL Geneva Lake.

There are public area viewpoints of the lake and mountains throughout the hotel, as well as bedrooms with floor to ceiling windows to capture the surrounding scenery.

Elevated F&B offerings, upscale meeting spaces, as well as YOTEL’s signature technology and design features in each room (such as adjustable SmartBeds™, sensory mood lighting, and features to connect mobile devices to SMART TVs) add to the guest experience.

Guests also have access to self-service stations for check in / check out upon arrival.

At YOTEL Geneva Lake, HVGGE Place stands out as a unique Nordic-inspired dining and entertainment hub. With contemporary Nordic architecture, it adapts seamlessly for various occasions, from intimate dinners to grand events.

Named after the Danish term ‘hygge’, celebrating life’s small joys, HVGGE Place is a place for both locals and travellers. Covering more than 2,000 sqm (21,500 sq ft) and designed to represent the Scandinavian lifestyle, HVGGE Place comprises:

HVGGE Restaurant: HVGGE Restaurant takes guests on a culinary adventure to Denmark, known as one of the best food scenes around the world, with a menu cultivated around Danish comfort food using locally sourced ingredients, as well as the famous Danish Smorrebrods – a culinary art combining bread, butter, cold cuts, seafood and vegetables.

SEAFOOD BAR, Copenhagen 1960: Inspired by the Danish seafood culture, The Seafood Bar offers a range of fresh, high-quality seafood dishes such as fresh lobster, crayfish, shrimp, oysters, caviar and salmon, accompanied by Danish beer, aquavit, wines and champagnes.

HVGGE Banqueting & Conference Centre: A versatile meetings space with flexible and multi-functional rooms that can host multiple events ranging from conferences and business meetings to private dinners or receptions. The space has a capacity to host up to 150 guests.

HVGGE Rooftop: Sitting on top of the building and providing a beachside ambience, the HVGGE Rooftop is an informal, relaxed space where guests can enjoy unrivalled lake and mountain views. It’s also an ideal break out space for those attending meetings and events at the HVGGE Banqueting and Conference Centre.

HVGGE Auditorium: A dedicated larger event space that can hold up to 200 guests, suitable for special occasions such as corporate galas, product launches, fashion shows, press conferences, weddings, concerts and local exhibitions.

Rooms at YOTEL Geneva Lake start from 150 CHF room only. Book on yotel.com.
