Earlier this month wagamama opened the doors to its new restaurant in Dundee, wagamama’s first restaurant in Dundee and 10th in Scotland.
The Dundee restaurant opened with a full electric kitchen, part of wagamama’s pledge to reduce their carbon emissions and remove gas from their estate.
Located on busy Whitehall Street in the centre of the city, the restaurant has been designed for 128 covers, opens seven days a week, creating 60 new jobs.
In celebration of the opening, wagamama has teamed up with V&A Dundee to organise a number of Dundee school visits for local pupils to enjoy food, drinks and a range of activities at the restaurant followed by a trip to V&A Dundee to see the hugely popular Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk exhibition.
Milly Pearson, Regional Marketing Manager at wagamama comments: “We are so excited to have opened the doors to our brand-new restaurant in Scotland. Our benches here are now welcoming the local community and visitors of the outlet shopping destination, and we can’t wait to serve up some of our newest dishes and fresh favourites.”
