Warwick Castle has announced its new medieval themed hotel will be open Monday, 22nd July. Set in the heart of Warwick Castle’s 64-acre grounds, with over 60 medieval inspired rooms.
Tying beautifully into the castle’s surroundings, the exterior of the hotel resembles a medieval hall, with a rough cast render, timber cladding and shingle roof tiles. Each room in the hotel gives a nod to the Wars of the Roses, with rose motifs, chambers draped in rich coloured fabrics and featuring wooden beams and shields.
Liam Bartlett, General Manager at Warwick Castle commented: “We are so proud to announce that we have now opened the doors of the Warwick Castle Hotel. Following years of meticulously planning every element to make each stay inspiring and memorable for our visitors, it’s incredibly exciting that we can now share our newest accommodation offering with our guests which be open all year round and offer something unique across the seasons.”
During the daytime, guests are just a stone’s throw away from discovering the castle grounds and all the fun experiences Warwick Castle has to offer, including jousting tournaments with the Wars of the Roses LIVE! and getting up close and personal with feathered friends with The Falconer’s Quest. Residents can also venture through the immersive treetop walkway to the Knight’s Village, where guests can dine and be entertained like royalty in a medieval banquet hall.
In the summer evenings from the 22nd to the 26th, and the 30th and 31st August, Warwick Castle’s exhilarating live show Dragon Slayer will return, offering visitors an unforgettable and immersive experience. Taking place in the central courtyard in 360-degree tiered seating arena that puts guests in the centre of the thrilling action, the state-of-the-art special effects, captivating storytelling, and jaw-dropping equestrian stunts transports spectators into a mythical world, where brave knights face off against formidable dragons in a battle of strength, skill, and bravery.
