The Greyhound in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, has promoted Lauren Gulliford-Brown and Rohit Sharma to the positions of assistant manager and head waiter, respectively.
Former head waiter Gulliford-Brown has been with the pub and restaurant business for nearly three years, and this is the third promotion she has received at the business in the last 18 months. Raised locally, she was formerly a supervisor at the Three Oaks in Gerrards Cross.
Sharma, meanwhile, has been promoted from senior waiter to head waiter. He also grew up in Buckinghamshire and was appointed as a full-time senior waiter at the restaurant last year. Sharma has a BA in Hospitality Management from the University of Essex and previously worked at The Green Man in Denham village.
Daniel Crump, co-proprietor at the Greyhound, said: “Team development is something that’s really important to us at the Greyhound, so we’re delighted to be promoting not just one but two of our brilliant team members. Lauren and Rohit have truly demonstrated their skills, dedication and passion for hospitality since they’ve been with us and clearly have a bright future with us ahead of them.”
