Leeds events specialists AYRE secures partnership with Cedar Court Hotels to provide all audio and visual requirements for conferences and events across their Bradford, Huddersfield, and Harrogate hotels, all of which have recently undergone significant refurbishments.

The creative events and production company acquired the partnership after a long-standing affiliation with the Leeds Hotel and Venue Association (LHVA), whose chairman, Wayne Topley, is Cedar Court Hotels’ managing director.
AYRE’s new partnership with Cedar Court, which have the largest independent collection of four-star hotels in some of Yorkshire’s most desirable locations, will cover all aspects of event production, including sound, lighting, staging, scenic, and rigging.
Chris Driver-Ayre, Managing Director of AYRE, comments: “We’re proud to announce our new venue partnership with such a prestigious hotel group. As a fellow Yorkshire business, we’re always excited to partner with venues that share the same values when it comes to delivering proper Yorkshire hospitality and creating unforgettable experiences for clients.”
Cedar Court’s hotels have received significant investment over the last three years, including property refurbishments and the introduction of Ambers restaurants at the Harrogate venue. Therefore, the hotel group needed to revamp their events and conference offerings to align with these impressive updates.

Wayne Topley, managing director of Cedar Court Hotels Group and chairman of LVHA, comments on the decision to partner with AYRE: “We at Cedar Court Hotels are thrilled to partner with AYRE, a collaboration driven by our shared commitment to excellence and customer focus. We’ve invested heavily in our properties, from bedrooms to public areas and meeting spaces. AYRE matches our ambition, bringing innovative ways of working that enhance efficiency and service delivery.”
Since the partnership began, the AYRE team has provided onboarding training to each venue’s operations and events teams. This training includes understanding AYRE’s online booking system, basic AV training, and introductions to the AYRE team.
Wayne adds: “This partnership enables us to exceed guest expectations, offering flexible and high-quality services while maintaining our core value of Proper Yorkshire Hospitality. Together, we’re poised to grow and deliver exceptional experiences for our clients and guests.”
Chris continues: “We’re looking forward to strengthening our relationship with Cedar Court Hotels, and we’re excited for the upcoming events and conferences of 2024.”
