Catering News is sponsored by Two Services

H&C News recently reached out to friends across our industry for donations for our annual golf day to help raise awareness of and funds for two organisations that help the industry in recruitment and retention. The CRUMBS Project and Zest Quest Asia.
The CRUMBS Project is a charitable foundation dedicated to supporting disadvantaged adults by providing hospitality and catering learning and development programmes which enable them to develop a wide range of professional and life skills, increase their confidence and self-esteem and to prepare for employment and independent living.
Zest Quest Asia was founded in 2013 by Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala to build knowledge of and experience in classical Asian cookery in UK college curricula.
One of the people we asked was Matt Symonds, Managing Director, Gather & Gather. Part of CH&CO, Gather & Gather provide catering to the workplace, increasing productivity and performance, through happy, motivated people working within inspiring environments.
Shortly after we reached out a reply was received confirming afternoon tea for four at Kensington Palace, the only royal residence in London where you can enjoy a traditional afternoon tea.
So, after a day of golf at The Belfry and following dinner, one of the Prize Draw/Auction lots is… traditional afternoon tea for four, in the grounds of Kensington Palace.
Both The Crumbs Project and Zest Quest Asia make a huge difference to the young people they work with, and both make a positive contribution to the culture of our industry. The H&C News team would like to say “thank you” to Matt and the team at Gather & Gather for helping both organisations do even more for our industry.
