Ochre, the modern British restaurant in central London’s National Gallery on Trafalgar Square, have announced the appointment of their new Head Chef, Alex Piladu.
Originally from Italy, Piladu will be joining the team at Ochre alongside Executive Chef Simon Henbery, to curate and oversee the regularly changing seasonal menus at the restaurant.
Piladu brings a wealth of experience, with impressive professional credentials including his previous position as Head Chef of Chucs Belgravia, a 60-seat restaurant in one of London’s most fashionable neighbourhoods.
He was also Head Chef at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen from 2005 to 2019. Whilst in both roles, Piladu managed and led large teams of chefs, as well as developing new menus.
