Krombacher Dark & Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe
Makes – 12 cupcakes
Cost – £6.26 (52p per cupcake)
- 125ml Krombacher Dark
- 125g butter, melted
- 60g cocoa powder
- 225g brown sugar
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 75 g natural yogurt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 150 g self-raising flour
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- ½ tsp salt
Add the Krombacher Dark, melted butter, cocoa powder and sugar to a mixing bowl. Mix until combined.
Add the beaten eggs, yoghurt and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
Pour in the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt. Mix until just combined.
Divide the cake batter into 12 cupcake cakes. Bake at 180C/160C fan/Gas 4 for 18-20 minutes until well-risen and cooked through.
Leave to stand on a wire rack before eating.
Enjoy with a bottle of Krombacher.
