By Angela Green: Lunar Pub Co appoints GM of its new pub and dining room.
Lunar Pub Co has appointed Kinan Wright as General Manager of its new Clapham-based pub and dining room, The Apollo Arms.
Having been part of the Lunar Pub Co family since 2021, Kinan brings a wealth of experience to The Apollo Arms, joining from sister site The Hunter’s Moon in South Kensington. It was here that he successfully navigated the staff shortages and other challenges created in the wake of Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring consistently high sales.
Prior to that, he was Bar and Restaurant General Manager across a number of Stonegate and Bermondsey Pub Co sites, ranging from wet-led city pubs to premium bar and restaurant venues. He also held managerial roles within the Independent Pub Co.
Responsible for the day-to-day running of The Apollo Arms, Kinan will oversee the entire team with his responsibilities encompassing HR, training, and supplier relations. He will work closely with owners Hubert Beatson-Hird and Oliver Marlowe alongside Head Chef Charlie Miller to ensure the pub and dining rooms high levels of food, drink and service are maintained.
