By Majella Taylor: Café concept tashas opening this summer at Battersea Power Station.
A café concept that started in South Africa, tashas is due to open its first UK restaurant at Battersea Power Station this summer.
The new café will open on Prospect Way with a large outdoor terrace for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including Butternut Zucchini Rosti, Dr Paw Paw, Lemon Chicken, and Texas Salad.
Founded in Johannesburg in 2005 by Natasha Sideris, tashas has 15 locations in South Africa and six in the UAE.
Built on the philosophy of beautiful food served in elegant environments with engaging service, tashas is known for its warm and laid-back approach, and for serving unpretentious, generous comfort food in stylish settings.
Natasha Sideris said of the opening: “We are thrilled to be opening at Battersea Power Station as our first UK location. At tashas, we are passionate about curating memorable moments with great food in beautiful environments. We can’t wait to bring the tashas brand of hospitality to London.”
