Her vision to build and continue to grow the business in a sustainable manner – a key focus, ensuring guests return continually throughout the year.
Siann Reid, the new General Manager, says: “I’m thrilled to come on board and take the lead in establishing Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Westerwood Spa and Golf Resort as a high-end four-star resort. It was clear from the point of introduction that there was a real shared value for our most valuable asset, our people. I’m very proud to be a leader within our industry and to share my passion with a team of like-minded people in a great property. Supporting the growth and development of my team will always be a priority. My vision for the experience they provide is that our guests can’t wait to come here and never want to leave.”
Eager to develop M&E opportunities also, Reid says: “As corporate business continues its upward trajectory, there is plenty of new opportunity to draw on within MICE with new relationships to be made as well as looking to enhance the delivery and offering within the hotel for those who continue to return.”
