Treetop Adventure Golf is due to open at the Metrocentre, Gateshead this summer, bringing two indoor 18-hole mini golf courses to the shopping centre, the investment of over £2.5 million will create more than 20 new jobs to the area.
Since opening at St David’s, Cardiff, Treetop has added destinations at Printworks in Manchester, Highcross in Leicester and, most recently, at Birmingham’s Bullring & Grand Central, with more sites in the pipeline.
Ben Cox of Sovereign Centros, Senior Asset Manager for Metrocentre, said: “We are excited to welcome Treetop Adventure Golf to Metrocentre later this year. Their substantial investment into the site will offer our visitors a completely new and immersive mini golf experience, which will appeal to a broad range of ages. The mix of leisure, dining and retail is a key component to the success of Metrocentre so it’s important that we continue to invest and refresh our offer.”
