Searcys has announced three new appointments to strengthen its senior management team, Laura Maddams as Searcys’ Head of Recruitment, Nico Prinsloo as Commercial Director and Jean-Christophe Roumignac as Operations Director.

With over 10 years in talent acquisition internationally, in the EMEA, States as well as the UK, Laura Maddams joins from The Ivy Collection, where she held the position of Head of Recruitment, having been promoted from her role as Senior Recruitment Manager, which she held for four years prior. With a passion for people, Laura will lead the Searcys resourcing team and support the business with its recruitment drive for the best talent in the industry.

An experienced director with over 25 years in the industry, Nico Prinsloo joins Searcys from his own food and beverage consultancy Lets-Confab, with clients including The Royal Overseas League, Aldenham Estate, and Elstree Studios. Prior to that, he spent 13 years with catering company CH&Co. where he rose through the ranks to Group Sales Director. Nico’s role is to focus on Searcys growth strategy, synergies within the business, new openings and new service formats.

Working across venues in the UK and France, Jean-Christophe will play a key role in driving service excellence across Searcys venue portfolio. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, accumulated from over 22 years’ of working in the hospitality industry, holding positions at Ampersand, The Genuine Dining Co. and RA Venues, as well as working key events including the State Banquets and Her Majesty’s Garden parties at Buckingham Palace and Windsor.

Paul Jackson, Managing Director of Searcys commented on the appointments by saying: “This has been a transformational 175th year for Searcys and next year is shaping up to be an equally exciting one.

“I am looking forward to working closely with Laura, Nico and Jean-Christophe and am confident their experience and skills, along with those of the rest of the leadership team, will support our growth plans.

“In 2023, we will focus on delivering impeccable events and dining experiences, with an emphasis on quality, attention to detail and finesse with a human touch.”
