Bennett Hay has achieved Planet Mark Certification underlining its focus on reducing its impact on the environment.
Since being founded in 2010, Bennett Hay has strived to reduce its carbon footprint through using seasonal and locally sourced provenance along with careful consideration of its supply chain. This new accreditation forms part of Bennett Hay’s wider ESG strategy and was awarded after robust measurement and identification of areas for on-going improvement.
The certification follows company-wide employee engagement and pledges to reduce emissions and make on-going improvements to the company’s carbon footprint; actions that are a valuable contribution to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. On-going audits will enable Bennett Hay to quantify and report on its environmental impact to its clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Planet Mark is a highly respected international kitemark amongst businesses and real estate organisations and is a significant addition to Bennett Hay’s forward-thinking proposition for the workplace sector. Through Planet Mark, Bennett Hay is helping with various philanthropy projects including protecting an area of endangered rainforest with Cool Earth, a charity working alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation. Additionally, a charitable donation to The Eden Project has been made.
Award winning, Bennett Hay boasts contracts with some of London’s landmark workplaces due to its long-standing relationships with Landsec, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Savills. The privately owned company has already earned a reputation as one of the foremost employers in the hospitality industry through its exacting employee engagement strategy.
