Country Range launches Festive Foursome of Desserts
With Christmas the ultimate time for indulgence and extravagance, Country Range is making sure its customers can offer a deluxe Yuletide banquet with the launch of a festive foursome of frozen desserts.
Taking inspiration from seasonal flavours which consumers know and love, the fab four, which includes a Premium Frozen Chocolate Praline & Profiterole Dessert, a Premium Frozen Sherry Trifle Dessert, a Black Forest Trifle Cheesecake and a Pecan Pie Cheesecake, are perfect for caterers across the foodservice marketplace.
Ideal for busy kitchens and those with limited time and space to make their own in-house, the new quartet includes a:
Country Range Premium Frozen Chocolate Praline & Profiterole Dessert – Whole (16 suggested portions).
Dark Belgian chocolate truffle, praline and white chocolate mousse centred with cream filled profiteroles, encased in a chocolate sponge layer. Defrost under refrigeration (8°C or below) for approximately 12 hours for the whole dessert.
Country Range Premium Frozen Sherry Trifle Dessert – Whole (16 suggested portions).
Vanilla sponge soaked with sherry, layered with traditional fruit salad in clotted cream mousse and custard, encased in a vanilla sponge layer. Defrost under refrigeration (8°C or below) for approximately 12 hours for the whole dessert.
Country Range Black Forest Trifle Cheesecake – 1 x 14 Pre-portioned.
Chocolate sponge sprayed with kirsch, topped with cherry compote and a chocolate and cherry flavoured cheesecake. The cheesecake is finished with cream and chocolate curls and freeze-dried cherry dust. Defrost for approximately 6 hours or overnight in a refrigerator at 5°C. Alternatively, remove the required number of slices from the frozen product and defrost each slice on a plate at 5°C for approximately 3 hours.
Country Range Pecan Pie Cheesecake – 1 x 14 Pre-portioned.
A crispy shortbread base topped with a light brown sugar cheesecake with a hint of whisky and pecan pie topping. Defrost for approximately 8 hours or overnight in a refrigerator at 5°C. Alternatively, remove the required number of slices from the frozen product and defrost each slice on a plate at 5°C for approximately 3 hours.
