The Thinking Drinkers Pub Quiz Tour Kicks Off At The Edinburgh Fringe
The Thinking Drinkers – the UK’s leading drink educators and entertainers – are back with a huge UK tour kicking off at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on the 5th August 2022.
Returning to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at the Underbelly Ermintrude for the 10th successive year before hitting theatres across Britain, the cutting-edge pioneers of alcohol-based comedy will be performing the newest and much-anticipated version of their “Thinking Drinkers Pub Quiz” – a highly-acclaimed show that gets the rounds in….in more ways than one.
An ideal aperitif to any night out and the greatest value-for-money show around, the “Thinking Drinkers Pub Quiz” gives each and every audience member FIVE FREE discerning alcoholic drinks alongside lots of laughter and learning.
Armed with their “Drink Less, Drink Better” mantra, Sandham and McFarland shall be filling audiences’ glasses with a phenomenally fruity British gin from Brockmans, a legendary lager from German brewers Krombacher, the sensational Venezuelan sipping rum that is Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva, an iconic Scotch whisky from Johnnie Walker, a beautifully balanced Kentucky straight bourbon from the geniuses at Elijah Craig in the USA and luxury mixer, The London Essence Co., which creates elegant tonics and crafted sodas with pure flavours, using botanicals selected by a team of flavour experts and gently distilled to capture their essence.
Having become disillusioned with dull drinks tastings back in 2010, Tom Sandham and Ben McFarland have broadened the booze horizons of more than 150,000 audience members and their latest stage show distils all the best aspects of the iconic British pub quiz into a genuinely unique, and memorable imbibing experience.
