Slim Chickens will open four new restaurants on 4th July in Leicester, Liverpool, Milton Keynes and London’s Bishopsgate, bringing the US fast casual brand’s UK portfolio up to 26 sites.
The new locations follow other recent openings in Brighton, Bristol and London’s Cambridge Circus.
The new sites will all offer Slim Chickens’ signature menu of authentic Southern flavours and hero product of buttermilk-marinated, hand-coated and cooked-to-order premium chicken.
The menu is offering its trademark chicken tenders and buffalo wings alongside fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps and sides such as mac & cheese, fried pickles and Texas toast.
Also on the menu, is the brand’s 14 dipping sauces including its signature sauce, Blue Cheese, Honey BBQ, Sriracha Garlic, Korean Barbecue and Ranch alongside a choice of five sides, hand-spun shakes, local craft beers and American brews.
Designed by Harrison (Liverpool, Leicester and London) and AW Designs (Milton Keynes), the four new restaurants will each occupy premium 2500+ sq ft locations, with new interior schemes referencing the brand’s US roots with exposed brick, industrial beams and the brand’s signature red colourway.
Satnam Leihal, CEO, Boparan Restaurant Group, owners of Slim Chickens said: “We are delighted to be opening four new sites on 4th July, an incredibly special day in the US, where the Slim Chickens brand was born.”
Slim Chickens is the forerunner in the ‘better chicken’ market and BRG have ambitious growth plans with numerous further openings scheduled for the next 12 months. The brand was founded by Tom Gordon and Greg Smart in 2003 and currently operates more than 100 restaurants in the US.
