Dorchester Collection announces the promotion of Philip Morris to the position of vice president, commercial, effective immediately.
Philip Morris, vice president, commercial, Dorchester CollectionMorris joined Dorchester Collection as corporate director of revenue management in 2013 where he was responsible for aligning brand revenue and online strategy. Four years later, he was promoted to global commercial director, with added responsibility for contact centres, digital transformation, and email marketing.
With the changing landscape of global travel following the covid-19 pandemic, Morris’s new role has evolved in response to a shift in consumer habits.
The newly created role will focus on driving Dorchester Collection’s commercial success through a combination of business development, long-term value creation and driving brand equity.
Reporting to Helen Smith, chief customer experience officer, this position will also be responsible for strategic business planning, data analytics and performance insights, marketing, revenue management, global sales and distribution.
