The Country Range Group is to celebrate its 30th anniversary by raising £100K during 2022 for a raft of charitable initiatives closely linked to its members and the wider foodservice sector.
The money raised will be split between Hospitality Action and local causes aligned with the 12 independent wholesalers that make up the Country Range Group.
Various individual, member and group charitable endeavours and fundraising activities will be taking place and announced throughout the year. They will include a 30 million step challenge at the Group’s headquarters and its annual exhibition in June.
Coral Rose, Country Range Group Managing DirectorCoral Rose, Country Range Group Managing Director, said: “Reaching our 30th year is a marvellous achievement for the Group. It wouldn’t have been possible without the local support our members receive and the tireless chefs and teams working across the foodservice sector. It’s been a torrid two years for everyone involved in catering, so we felt it was only fitting that we used our anniversary year to raise some much-needed funds to support and help those who need it most.”
After bouncing back impressively in 2021 thanks to the member’s fantastic customer service, support strategies and new business wins, the Country Range Group is looking to kick on in 2022 with a full schedule of events already confirmed.
This includes two business development days in March, its Christmas Show at Bolton Football Club in April, the CRG annual exhibition in Telford in June before two more business development days in September and the popular “An Evening with…” event in December.
