While much of the hospitality sector has endured unprecedented challenges since March 2020, one construction business Pure Fitout has secured an impressive number of new contracts worth in excess of £18 million from some of the UK and Europe’s leading hotels and hospitality venues.
Topping the list of stunning projects Pure Fitout is heading up, is the soon to open basement Spa in Claridge’s, London designed by Andre Fu.
The fitout business which has offices in London, Belfast and Dublin has also won contracts for the soft fitout of the 5-star hotel, The Adria in South Kensington, London, the bar area in the new citizenM hotel in Victoria, London, the restoration of The Relais Henley hotel and are currently completing the fitout of The Alan Hotel in Manchester.
Testament to the success that the interiors fitout business is enjoying is a plethora of new jobs will also be filled across the business’ 50,000 sq. ft. factory and office and will include joiners and metal fabricators, as well as project managers, quantity surveyors and estimators.
Commenting on the growth, Managing Director of Pure Fitout, Ronan Higham said: “There is no question that construction and hospitality have collectively suffered since the pandemic hit, but there are also clear indications of recovery, growth and future investment.
“For us, we had been in business a mere four and a half years when the world effectively shut down. However, even when many of us were still in lockdown (in late 2020 into 2021), our team were seeing significant investment being made by hospitality venues across Ireland, the UK and Europe.”
The bespoke interiors fitout business have won some especially impressive projects of late including; the fitout of the stunning new addition to the Maybourne Group’s portfolio the Maybourne Riviera in Monaco, ongoing work with Three; Krispy Kreme; Five Guys, as well as the fitout of a trendy new donut brand, Urban Legend.
Higham adds: “These projects are testament to the long-term vision that hospitality leaders have.
Yes, it has been a brutal time, but these businesses are determined that they will put their best foot forward, and that there will be life after the pandemic.”
In addition to its fitout specialism, the company has launched a construction division securing several major new build contracts to construct a new 52-bedroom boutique hotel and an 8 storey Grade A office development in Dublin city centre.
The company has also expanded with a £2.5million investment in the manufacture and sale of a new fire retardant treatment – HALT. This business will provide a non-toxic fire retardant treatment for timber. HALT uses a new treatment, BURNBLOCK®. It will make the product in a new facility in Belfast and sell it across Ireland and the UK.
