Over the summer, pioneering ice company Icebox has been helping countless bars, hotels and restaurants in London with ‘Ice-bro’ delivering emergency bagged ice, premium Hoshizaki ice, and bespoke cocktail ice cubes to those in desperate need of chilled drinks.
Managing Director, Icebox, Greg Pittard said: “Since the easing of restrictions, bars all over London have been in demand with people wanting to enjoy the warmer weather, and some have fallen short of supply. That’s where Ice-bro has come to the rescue and saved the day!”
Riding the world’s first ice delivery bike – the ‘Ice-blast,’ icey superhero Ice-bro has wowed locals and establishments alike with his fun personality, entertaining charisma and high-quality ice products. The Ice-blast – a sustainable electric cargo bike – has been saving the day all over the West End, Soho and Chelsea ensuring Ice-bro can reach clients in next to no time with little cost to the environment.
Each day, the Ice-blast is crammed full of Icebox’s premium ice and latest inventions, ready to deliver to needy bars ensuring their customers don’t suffer with warm drinks.
Pittard continued: “Icebox is all about innovation, creativity and fun. Ice-bro is a larger-than-life character and carries enough product to tide bars over until we can get our van to them. Plus, some bars have been able to experience first-hand our new premium products which turn a high-quality drink into a super-premium drink.”
Adam Lock, manager of the London City Distillery said, “You’ve made my day, this has just made everything so much better!”
The new diamond design is a stand-out luxury item adding glamour to any libation. It fits beautifully into a tumbler and looks stunning in a martini glass. The machine is completely unique to Icebox, modified in house by their team of ice engineers. All the bespoke items including spheres, logo cubes, shards and extra-large cubes have been created for maximum integrity and minimum dilution.
Mortimer House received a sample box complete with all the bespoke items, with the manager commenting “now that’s some sexy ice and changes the cocktail game.”
Pittard added: “If you’re talking premium liquor, you expect a premium glass and ice to complete the experience. All our ice is high density, so it lasts up to 10 times longer than normal ice, it’s the bar manager’s ally.”
Ham Yard Hotel was equally impressed as was Jerk Drum with the bespoke selection. While Bar Italia, Café Royal, Foubert’s, Koha, La Roche, Steak & Co, Big Easy, Bluebird and Oysterman were among the many who were super impressed with the bags of ice given.
