Over the years, The Clink Charity Hospitality Golf Day has seen some wonderful gifts donated to its auction, raising thousands of pounds to help train more people to work in hospitality.
The auction takes place during dinner in the evening and has seen some competitive bidding take place to secure a range of hospitality experiences, provided by hospitality businesses that support and take part in the golf day.
Experiences including: Afternoon Tea at Buckingham Palace – A day of fly fishing on the River Test at Timsbury Fishery – Aston Martin Driving Experience at Goodwood – Afternoon Tea at the Dorchester Collection’s Coworth Park.
This year we have decided to open the auction in advance for one item, a day of partridge shooting. The day is not for everyone, but because of ‘the shoot’ will be on most shooting enthusiast’s bucket list.
The shoot takes place on Monday 25th October 2021 at Westfield Shoots Place Newton in North Yorkshire.
The evening before, dinner and overnight accommodation is provided at The Blue Bell Inn Weaverthorpe. Then on the morning of the shoot the winning bidder will join their host for the day, Ramco MD Neil Sanderson, who generously provided this auction item.
A hearty breakfast will be enjoyed before the party heads off with Neil and six other members of the eight person shooting party for a day of game shooting to savour.
Following an enjoyable and hopefully successful shoot, the day will finish late afternoon with light refreshments before guests depart.
Shooting experience is essential as this is a high bird Yorkshire shoot of the highest quality.
If you would like to place a bid please do so through the form below. We will update the highest bid received in the run up to The Clink Charity Hospitality Golf Day on 24 June. The dinner attendees can also bid on the night, the winner will be notified at the dinner, and announced here on 26 June.
